KAYO MOTO AUSTRALIA COMPLETES A TOUGH DEBUT AT THE 2026 YELLOW MOUNTAIN CROSS COUNTRY

August 7, 2026

KAYO Moto Australia has completed its first appearance at the 2026 Yellow Mountain Cross Country in Central New South Wales, with both the KAYO K6R and T4 ENDURO securing official two-day finishes.

Yellow Mountain is a well-established Australian cross-country endurance event. Following a two-day out-and-back format, riders race approximately 230 kilometres from Tottenham to Condobolin before returning the following day.

The 2026 event brought together more than 200 riders. KAYO Moto Australia entered three motorcycles in the E1 250cc class.

Edward Grabham, riding the KAYO K6R #73, finished 5th in the E1 class and 48th overall.

Returning to competition, Damien Grabham rode the air-cooled KAYO T4 ENDURO #72 to 7th in E1 and 55th overall.

Noah Grabham also took on the event aboard a second T4 ENDURO #74. He delivered a strong performance on Day 1 before having to withdraw on Day 2 due to illness.

Across approximately 460 kilometres, the course combined high-speed red-dirt farmland, tight timber sections, heavy dust and the region’s challenging natural Gilgai formations.

The event provided a demanding real-world test for two different motorcycles from KAYO’s full-size off-road range. The liquid-cooled K6R represents KAYO’s more performance-focused platform, while the air-cooled T4 ENDURO is designed as a practical and accessible off-road motorcycle.

For KAYO and KAYO Moto Australia, the objective of this first Yellow Mountain entry was to take on the challenge, complete the event and learn from genuine Australian racing conditions. Two official finishes, including fifth and seventh in E1, made it an encouraging debut.

KAYO would like to thank KAYO Moto Australia, Edward Grabham, Damien Grabham and Noah Grabham, the support team, and everyone involved in preparing the motorcycles for the event.

More race footage, rider feedback and technical insights will follow.
